I had visited an emergency room on two separate occasions with excruciating head and neck pain. The pain made it impossible for me to sit upright and stand. I was tested for Meningitis I also had a CAT scan taken of my head, along with many blood tests. None of the tests concluded with a diagnoses. The pain medications did NOT alleviate the pain, however, they did cause me to sleep non-stop for up to ten days at a time.

Six days into the second episode, and having been knocked out on pain meds, once again; I now refused to take anymore pills.
